John Brady of LSU has not been contacted by North Carolina State to fill the school's head coaching job, according to Brady and LSU Athletic Director Skip Bertman. Brady met with Bertman and Chancellor Sean O’Keefe on Wednesday, according to several media reports, and the three parties left the meeting very happy. It is only a matter of days before Brady will sign a new contract with a pay raise that will make his salary comparable to the upper-paid coaches in the SEC except for Tubby Smith of Kentucky who makes $2M per season. Here is a link (http://www.2theadvocate.com/sports/2626216.html) to an article about the meeting with Bertman and O’keefe. Reported by DandyDon.

I think Tubby makes $2.5M per season...he is the highest paid coach in the SEC in any sport...I think I read this in USA Today last week.

Nice salary! He slipped a little bit of late, so I know his apprehension level must be raised a little about his security. Those BB fans in Lexington won't give him much leeway.
