Did UCLA ever have the lead? That was probably one of the most lop-sided games i've ever seen. And I'm sure glad about it. Great Job Gators and SEC. I hate UCLA
Looks to me like everyone was wrong, the SEC was underated, and it looks to me like we're just getting started. With young teams like Florida, LSU, Alabama and Tennessee, the next few years look bright for the SEC.
Anyway, Congrats to Florida. 72-57 is pretty much domination. :icon_band

Great night for the Gators and the SEC!
An absolutely overpowering performance by the big water lizards. They exacted some revenge for the beating that the UGLY..er..UCLA Bears put on their SEC brethren. It's the Southern way...we'll beat each other up, but we don't take kindly to strangers doin' it. So the Gators just sent them back to LALA land with a good whuppin' :box: :blackeye:
When it's all said and done, the last two teams standing are from the SEC. Once again, great job all around.

UCLA led 2-0 but stayed way behind the rest of the game!!! thats total domination. Congrats Gator fans!!!!!!!! the SEC Dominated both tournaments and there will still be people saying the SEC is a weak basketball conference! they can say that all they want as long as we remain on top!!!

I've never seen a more complete team effort from a basketball team. Everyone on that team saved their best game for last. Congratulations

Yep...Bama beat us once, both USCocks and UT beat us twice, and Arky got us once...but I don't think a team in the SEC or Nation wants any of the UF team from the NCAA tourney...point is, you guys can have those wins...we'll take the SEC and National Championships!

I doubt it...remember, we won the last meeting...when it counted for a ring...but I agree, I would love to see another match-up.

I know...no offense taken...and truthfully, I wouldn't be "scared" to see UF play anyone considering the way they've been playing since the SEC tourney...and you may "say" that you would like to see UF-USC...but I think you and I both know that the result wouldn't be much different than last night....

Whatever you say. UF is not the only hot team at the end of the season, as it seems you are making it out to be. I'm sure y'all said that before y'all came into columbia right after beating Kentucky.

No, I say that after sweeping through the SEC tourney and the NCAA tourney, beating USCocks and bringing home a National Championship!

UF won it without "the guy"...Brewer was the only returning starter....4 sophmores and a junior...it's not about one guy...the other 4 have to do their part as well.

Yeah, 3/5ths of the team left. That's a bit more damaging than "one guy."
It's frightening (in a bad way) to think about what would have happened if even one of those guys stuck around. I don't think we'd be national champs right now. That says a heckuva lot about team chemistry and playing for one another. That's exactly what Meyer wants for the fb team.
Also, I can't believe Meyer was there. I would have hunted him down had I known. No one said anything at the stadium. I guess he wnated to keep a low profile, making sure he didn't steal any attention away from Billy and the boys on UF's greatest night of b-ball.

Yea...from what I read, Meyer kinda slipped in with his family.
