Give me the scoop...what happened? I was at a party celebrating the Gator win and didn't see the whole game....how will the Gators match-up?

Florida has a perimeter shooting game where LSU has effectively none. As much as I dislike the nancy boy Noah, I think he will be fine, but expect UCLA to rotate players on him constantly to wear him down like they did to Davis.

"nancy boy" WTH does that mean? The guy plays "balls to the wall" for 40 minutes...nothing to be ashamed of there....and I hope they double and triple him....that will leave Humphry, Green and Brewer open for the 3...I am worried though, saw some highlights on Sportscenter, those UCLA boys play some serious "D".

His weenie French hair and his girlish way of two handed free throws, not to mention his perpetual whine face he has.

The Bruins defense is for real, they shut down Memphis, which has an awsome 3 point game, and they shut down LSU's inside game. As a Gator Fan I would be concerned if I were you. I think the Bruins take this game, and I don't think it will be close. Sorrry

I heard the commentators talking about his shooting mechanics I say who cares, look at the end result. His hair and is facial expression, again who cares. The object of the game is to score the most points. Not look pretty.

LSU should have hired the Gamecocks to stand in for them last night; then they may have been in the NCG!

UCLA is for real alright. But the difference between the Gators and the Bengals is LSU is a woeful shooting team; take away their presence in the paint and you've beaten them. UCLA sealed off the passing lanes to "Baby", and when he did get the ball, the Bruins were all over him. He missed a lot of close shots that could have kept them in the game.

The Gators, with their perimeter game, will spread that defense out a bit. And with five guys that can score, their offense is complete, and their defense is almost as smothering as the Bruins.

It could go either way, but look for the Gators to bring home the prize!

[Homerism? (Well...the Gators run has been somewhat of an Odyssey.)]

Well, I think this ruins the LSU fans in their "were perfect in every way" parade.

It was a combination of the Bruins playing great and hitting shots and the Tigers playing awful and not hitting anything. I think the Gators can take them. LSU was totally absent and not agressive as they usually are. I think all of the Big Dance hype got to these young players. Not to take anything away from UCLA because they played well and had good coaching and an excellent game plan, but the Tigers simply did not show up in any category.

I agree GeauxTo. UCLA played great, and LSU appeared not to have shown up. Still a great run, and nothing to be ashamed of. LSU is young, and things are looking good for LSU over the next two years. Great season for LSU!

Now, go get 'em GATORS!

I agree I was pulling for florida right up until I saw him on espn trashing everyone in the media and at his school for not going to or covering his games...Picking Florida to go deep in the tourney has been bracket suicide for the past few years so it's no wonder nobody thought they were the real deal this year. Not to mention his hair is sooo hair is gay, and his voice is gayer still. Good luck to Fl in the finals against a non-conference team, but I was pulling for LSU or GM to win it all.

I think Florida matches up much better against UCLA than LSU did. Although, what do I know, I thought LSU would win that game pretty handily. Once UCLA jumped out to that big lead LSU had no chance, but Florida has the ability to come from behind with their 3-point shooting. These 3-point shots will also force UCLA to come out and defend the perimeter, something they didn't have to do when they were smothering Big Baby.
