ok, i know i'm a homer but just think of the n.i.t. champion being only the 65th best team in the nation. IF(and that's a big if) south carolina wins the nit and the gators(not too big an if) were to win the ncaa championship than that would mean the 65th best team beat the nations best 2 out of 3 games played this year and only lost the third with a blocked shot in the last 10 seconds.
and yes if i had hair i would need a comb

Kinda reminds me of a very average UF team, in 2003, that went to Baton Rouge and whipped eventual National Champion, LSU....basically, the same average UF team that beat UGA, giving them their only loss of 2002.
USC was a troublesome match-up for UF...most believed that if UF would run the 2-3 zone vs USC, it would force you guys to beat us with the 3, which was unlikely...however, you guys managed to shoot "lights out" behind the arc and beat us twice in two close games....I do take pride in the fact, however, that UF won when it counted....SEC Tourney Championship...and for what it's worth, I thought USC should've gone to the big dance.

Yeah, so where's our NC trophy for beating less-U in 2003?
I guess Creighton, Old Dominion, and Hofstra should be given NC trophies if George Mason wins the tourney. Heck, Hofstra beat them twice this year....

It's all Florida's fault. If they would have thrown our SEC title game, then we could've shown the world how good we are in tourney play and maybe made it to the final four. If we win the NIT again this year....no one that knows B-Ball will think we're the 65th best ream or whatever. The guys that play the game will respect it, I would hope.
