A friend went to see UF play today and watched the LSU-TA&M game...he said in the second half, the TA&M students and fans started doing the Gator Chomp....probably trying to get the big UF crowd to cheer for their Aggies....soon after, the LSU fans started doing the f$u tomahawk chop...which kinda makes me laugh considering UF's latest beatdown of the criminoles...anyway, I was reminded of several SEC football games back in the mid-90's....several SEC schools...LSU, UGA, Auburn would do the f$u tomahawk chop in the 4th quarter during a UF beatdown...

I, personally, will never do the "chant" of another school....I think it's a "sour-grapes" ploy at best...anyway, I thought it was funny that the Aggies were using every means necessary to get the fans involved...and according to my friend, it worked...although, the UF fans were cheering for the Tigers....which, my friend said had a poor showing of fans.

BTW, congrats to the Bayou Bengals...that guy has titanium testes to take that shot with 3 seconds...if you make it, your the hero...if you miss, your an idiot.

Yikes! I hate to think of my Tiger fans doing the f$u tomahawk chop! We shouldn't stoop to that!

I haven't witnessed any of that first hand, but that is lame. The losers that were doing it aren't true fans! I love it when the chanting happens in victory though. It was great in 90 when 86,000 were doing the Chop after the Tigers beat down the Criminoles! It is so obnoxious when they do it the whole freaking game. It was nice to throw it back in their faces!

doing the gator chomp at the football game and basketball games here in Columbia this school year was definitely entertaining....especially since somehow i always end up sitting near visiting fans.

Yea...I remember that game...I always loved watching Auburn-f$u games...no matter how well Auburn was playing in the SEC, you guys always came into that game thinking you were about to spank them...and did! Auburn definately owns the criminoles...they can say Tubby was chicken when he got out of the game a few years back all they want, but I know they are happy he did...playing Auburn for f$u usually meant a loss.

I especially enjoyed doing the Gator Chomp at the SEC Tourney Championship game last week...didn't see any USC fans doin' it then...
