SUPPOSEDLY anyway, that's the latest word.

It's been said that FSU and Georgia lead with the SC schools behind, but who knows with this kid. Any predictions?

I think he'll end up at Georgia. Excuse me; I think he'll sign with Georgia today. There is no telling where he will actually play.

Very true...this guy will not enroll in school for 2 years or so...sign and place definately...amazing that these guys think their talent transcends education.

Geathers announced his decision. . .Georgia. He, however, did not sign. His press conference started 40 minutes late, which I expected. Who knows when this saga will end. I stopped caring long ago.

Yep, he picked the Dawgs.

But 2 years huh Hunter? Just curious what your source is on that one, because ours tells us he's not that far from qualifying at all... that when all the other prospects were on their official visits in January, he was busy taking SAT prep courses and such. Not sayin he will or won't make it, just sayin nobody knows.

Too bad we can't just send him to that 'University High' or whatever it was called in Miami, like our rivals used to do to magically get the ineligible kids eligible...

Please Billy-Brice please. If he had announced for South Carolina you cocks would be pounding your chests, etc. but you act some teenage girl who didn't get asked to prom and is trying to make herself feel better :boohoo:

I read several weeks ago that he was far from qualifying...he is a sign and place according to a neutral recruiting analyst...I'll try and find the article. Yea, that "University High" crap goes to show how far some coaches will stoop to get a player.

Geathers is just not a very good player. He has a tremendous upside physically. However, mentally he is out of controll. His mother was killed in an aoutmobile accident in front of his house and he was never the same. His father told my friend that did some work at thier manssion that he could not controll him. If his own father can't controll him I don't think the coaching staff at UGA can either. I coach my boys in football and troubled and undicepline players are the hardest to teach the game. They always think that thier talent is above the team. However, Richt does not have much of a gamble because geathers wont be on campus for two years if clifton makes the grades.

Yeah I don't think you'll find too many Gamecocks from the past 2 months who absolutely wanted Geathers. His lack of effort to try and find a team let us know there is something wrong there. Good luck with him though. I don't wish any ill will toward any recruit no matter where they go. Unless they go to Femson or uncommit from us.

Lack of effort? While all the big time prospects were visiting schools every weekend in January, Clifton was in New Jersey working with a lady to improve his SAT score. Thats why it took him so long to come to a decision.
