Doesn't it just make your day and give ya that little extra pep in your step when ya really take it to your rival and put them in their place?
Tell me what it does for you when your team makes you proud in a match against their archrival. . .
I'm feeling quite invigorrated after todays match between the Bulldogs and the old colonels from oxford. It was the kinda massacre that seemed to come straight from the movie screen of some B horror movie. The old colonels need to get a coach and a team. It was absolutely pathetic for the red and blue today. I'm not sure they could have defeated a girls intermural team. The men's basketball team in oxford is in some serious trouble.
I hope Coach Barnes gets a 10 year extension. What he has done @ ole colonel U is just amazing!!! I'll bet the Bulldogs boosters would even help get him a contract extension. I'mm feeling pretty darn good about the future of Men's BB in Starkvegas. I could see us finishing at the top of the West next year. The young pups are coming along nicely!!! :) :D :p :D :p :D :)

Not a Rebel killer?????? He is 13-4 vs the Rebs , that IS the definition of being a Rebel killer.
In his worst year as the MSU head coach , he put his foot up Barnes ass to the tune of a 29 point win.
Cheater?? please.......with the history Ole Miss has they don't have any right to call anyone a cheater. The Ole Miss definintion of a cheater is a school that is willing to pay more for a player than Ole Miss is willing to pay.

This is exactly why I started this thread. It's all about the thrill of victory or the agony of defeat to your heated rival.
So . . . Rebel Mike, when you lose to your rival is that the first thing that comes to mind is "they cheated" ? Is this because you sincerly believe that your team is better or is it just because you couldn't think of anything else and your fellings were hurt?

Rebel Mike is probably alluding to the most recent allegation against Stansbury.
I do commend him however for taking advantage of a total bogus situation getting Roberts. He's a fine recruiter.

Did any of you Dog fans attend the game? I had to miss this one due to being under the weather....my 4th miss in the last 16 years. I was surprised by the score. Did we play lights out?

I did not get up there to see the game. I caught some of it on tv. The early run in the second half was pretty amazing. Those young pups are getting up and down the floor pretty well. It was our best shooting percentage night(almost 55%) in the conference this year. It's hard to lose when ya shoot that well and hold your opponet to one of their lowest of the year. We also had twice as many rebounds as they did in the second half(30 - 15). Slater looked pretty comfortable(double/double) and Reginald Delk looked the part of a 3ball specialist(5 of 6 for the nite). If we can just be more consistant from the charity stripe and stop making the forced passes inside we will have a better chance at a few more wins before the end of the season. We all knew this would not be a NCAA tourney year so it would be good to go NIT and extend the season to continue the growth and confidence of our young team. That will help in defining their designated roles for next year.

If he is " alluding to the most recent allegation against Stansbury" , then surely he must also consider Coach O a cheater too considering the self reported rules violations by the current Ole MIss football coaching staff.
