While MSU did not actively search for a new quarterback in the class of 2006, it doesn't mean one didn't fall in their laps. Take, for example, the JUCO offensive MVP in the Mississippi JUCO all-star game, Jones J.C.'s Brett Hyatt. After leading his team to an impressive victory and leading the South to a win, he has opted to follow his dreams and has joined the MSU team. He is already on campus and will compete for playing time this spring
