THAT is amazing!

Second only to Wilt!

A puzzle:

Who coached that great Philadelphia team that year?

WOW! At this rate, Xbox & PS3 games are going to have Kobe jumping from the half-court line for dunks and makin' three pointers from the other teams' free throw line! :D

I'm not a big Lakers fan, but when we heard he had 62, we tuned in for the last twenty. As much as I dislike the guy, its hard not to be amazed by that kind of output.

......so here's a question for the rest of this thread to ponder:

Was it tougher for Wilt to get 100 or Kobe to get 81 ??

Hummmm, I'll go with Kobe, more overall talent now than then and I think that talent goes down the bench too but Kobe does bring the ball down so HE decides first who gets the ball where Wilt had to be thrown the ball..........

Wilt's 100.

I disagree. Kobe got his from the perimeter. Wilt got his in the paint. Even though Kobe managed 7 3's to boost his production, the fact is that Wilt was a huge presence inside at a time when 7 footers were rare. Also, he was hitting all that poontang that he talked about in his autobiography.
