According to the recruiting guys at Gamecockcentral, he canceled the trip for this weekend. That was just done this past week. Either way, if they are going to start turning away 4 star recruits, that is certainly cool with me. :cool:

I think we impress Hawthorne's parents & make them very comfortable in sending their kid to USC. I honestly think Tim genuine in his attempts to get to Columbia and that 'want' finally wore his parents into giving us a shot & I think they're going to be impressed by what they see. Smelley's phone calls, Tim's insistence on getting to Columbia, Spurrier's tutelege & an opportunity to play early & often...I think this comes down to the wire.

I'm in for 100 vCash if Chris, Rebeldrummer & Co. get it going sure! See, I have all this extra vCash just laying around after that Steelers over Indy pick. ;) I can afford to take a chance on a long shot....and it's lookin' to not be such a longshot after all. :)

It is also being reported since last night that there will be a HUGE recruit commit to South Carolina possibly this weekend. It is reported to be a surprise, and one that will shock the SEC. No names were given. We will see if this comes to fruition tomorrow or in the coming week or so. Im keeping my fingers crossed!!!
