on Cory Boyd? I guess what spurred this thought was the fact that we do not have any running backs in this class yet other than a FB. Does anyone know if he is planning on coming back next year, when that will be, and how many years of eligability he will have left?

Cory Boyd will be back next year. He has 2 years left I believe. Someone correct me if I am wrong on that. Boyd should fit into this offense perfectly. He practiced with the team this past season, just was not allowed to play in games. He already knows the offense, and will be great catching the ball out of the backfield. Should also give Bobby Wallace more playing time hopefully lined up in some different positions (flanker, etc) and will certainly give us more trick play ability. Our team is going to have speed, speed, speed next year. Also remember we have some WR's coming in One is named Jared Cook, who is 6'5, 225 with a 4.5 40 that is billed to be as good as Rice. He was recruited last year, but did not play.

I think you are talking about Jared Cook, I saw him in practice and he is a big kid. I think I read somewhere that he may get swithched to tight end with J Hanna. Don't forget about O.J. Murdock! He can fly and was a highly recruited WR.

I received confirmation he will remain at WR. Jonathan Hannah will be a beast at TE!! He could be used there some in double TE formations. I also have been told he can catch as good as Rice. If we have those two spread wide on both sides, that could be fun to watch.

did hannah officially get a medical redshirt for this season or is that still pending?
a lot of the new guys had the dropsies this year early in the season, so hopefully that won't happen next year (including hannah in limited action). if blake improves and the receivers are ready to give themselves up and catch the ball we may see a HUGE improvement in our offense next year. it's all going to come down to how well the new guys at OL perform i believe. i'm not too worried about the defense really. i don't expect to see much improvement, if any, next season, but i also don't expect too much of a regression either.

I don't think we will improve much next year but stay about where we are. But then again maybe Spurrier has something up his sleeve I don't know about.
The line needs to hit the weight room and like the QBs and WRs did have a little practice session doing some blocking or something.
