Check out this link for some more of our bowl coverage....plus a pretty amusing comment by Jim Donnan....

"...The biggest improvement for the Gamecocks is their defense, but Brad Smith will be tough on them because he's a mobile quarterback, and in the SEC, South Carolina hasn't seen a QB like that."

Ummm....where has this nut been all season??? We've faced DJ Shockley, Chris Leak, Jay Cutler......

Yeah I've kinda been picking up on that lately....at least Ivan Maisel gave us a little credit in his bowl breakdown saying that we deserve a tougher bowl. I hope we prove him right.

Maybe we should send that cat on your avatar up to the ESPN studios and let him take care of business :D

Jim Donnan hates USC. Every time he is on ESPN he has nothing good to say about USC.

While I agree ESPN and many national outlets seem to dump on the SEC statistically this guy is right. I think we'll be able to contain Smith and I don't think that he's nearly as good a Shock. Statistically he's right.

Jim Donnan said earlier this season that the Georgia Bulldogs played in Stanford Stadium. He is an idiot.

He had 1151 yards rushing. But I hope you are right about containing him.

Donnan is right. There is nobody like Smith in the SEC.

I think that if you were to put Shockley at Mizzou for 5 years and he could do what Smith has done in that conference.

Oh and I'm not downplaying Smith's talent....he's a hell of a QB

Shockley is too good with his arm and not good enough with his legs to be Brad Smith. You put Shockley at Mizzou and he doesn't run as much because they actually throw the ball. The fact is though, South Carolina hasn't seen a QB whose sole focus pretty much was running the ball since they playing Alabama and their option offense with Watts.

No problem....if you are allowed to....check out uscsports.com and they have a live radio broadcast w/ Todd Ellis. I can never find the audio/visual link on there, but if you go to the bottom and type "audio" into the search, you can find it that way.
