At 10-2 I still hear a lot of nay saying. the NFC west obviously isn't a tough division and they haven't proven themselves in the playoffs, but still they're 10-2. I think the Panthers are the only team that MIGHT keep us out of the superbowl. Chicago if we had to play there, but we should end up w/ homefield advantage and Jay Feely will tell you even though the Kingdome came down, hawk fans are still friggin loud.
They are the real deal in the NFC, but are only like #7 or #8 in the whole league. There only competition in the NFC will be CAR or CHI (in the playoffs), I expect them to make the NFC title game....

Definantly. Acually, with the two looses from my previous soon to be NFC Champs, Chicago and Carolina. It looks like Seatle and the New York Giants are in the driver's seat for the NFC. Also, Dallas and Jacksonville looks pretty good as well.
Anyway, here's my top 5 teams in the NFL after this week:
#1: Indianapolis Colts The only undefeated team, a win over a tough Jacksonville, I think the Colts may go undefeated all the way to the Superbowl.
#2: Denver Broncos Despite almost loosing to the Ravens, they're still 10-3 with looses to Miami in the season opener(fluke), a 1 point loss to the Giants, and an OT loss to Kansas City.
#3: Seatle Seahawks leads the NFC with 11-2 10-1 in the conference, and only losses is to Jacksonville in the season opener, and Washington in OT.
#4: Chicago Bears leads NFC North with 9-4. I think they have the best Defense in the leage. Despite the loss to Pittsburg.
#5: New York Giants NFC East leader at 9-4. And the only loss that wasn't desided by 3 points or less was San Diego by 22 in the beggining of the season.

Feely probably makes those kicks in the Kingdome. Qwest Field has some screwy winds.

The Seahawks season and improvement is a singular testment to not allowing professional coaches to handle GM duties as well. Holmgren is a great coach, but a frickin' lousy GM.

They play "Sweet Home Alabama" on the loudspeakers every time he gets a good run. He's a work horse and has the benefit of probably the best O-Line in the NFL. I hope they sign him to a big contract before the end of the year.
