He worked in the Home Depot paint department eh? Sounds to me like he was pulling lots of overtime with all the windows shut.

Well, if someone runs through the plane and into the jetway screaming that they have a bomb in a bag, fail to place the bag on the floor when ordered to but instead reach into the bag, they are going to get shot. The marshal had no choice. Whether the SOB was bi-polar or schizo won't matter in this case. (Why was he on the plane unmedicated, etc., if that's the case??) Law enforcement must do their jobs in protecting people. This crazy did the wrong thing at the wrong place. No policeman should be expected to wait to see what the man would do when he reached into the bag. They'll be shot every time, and they should be.

His wife said he was bi-polar and didn't take his meds. If that's the case, they shouldn't have been flying.
A well trained FAM, a Sig P229 (chambered in .357SIG) and a few rounds of 125gr Gold Dot ammo make for one dead badguy. OTOH, it's unfortunate and sad that him not having/taking his meds led to his demise.
:(
I do feel for his wife and for him. The marshall was right in what he did, it's just very sad and tragic that the guy suffered from a mental disease and didn't do something as simple as taking his meds...

I am just glad to see that they are taking this all deadly serious. It makes feel better about the situation because I think we should look at Isreal on how they deal with terrorism, kill the basterds involved then ask questions. This is how they curb a HUGE amount of terrorism in their country. Otherwise there would be tons more Isrealis dead in the streets.
