Word has it that Nutt Job won't be returning and Mustain is a strong possibility to UF!
I saw this post on a Bama site. It would be great if it has any truth to it. As far as true facts...Mustain is more than likely NOT going to Arky.

As posted in another thread, this is still very much a rumor right now. Once the coaching changes settle down a little up here, we'll likely find out the truth to this. He's likely just keeping his eyes open at other schools in case he doesn't like the decisions made for the coaching staff at Ark. He's dreamed his whole life of playing at Ark, so it's going to take a lot to pull him away.

You think that has anything to do with TT giving us his verbal next week?
Please. We won't even think about Mustain until December 15th, but in the end, we won't need him.
Gators with a 75-25 edge over bama for Tebow at this point. His p-conference is taking place in a Gator watering hole.

Why? If he does, we'll sign Schaeffer (or, now, maybe Mustain). I think Meeeechigan is all but out of it at this point, unless TT is one helluva poker player.
And why would you set up your announcement at a Gator bar to commit to Bama?
He'll go where he goes, but I like our chances.

He lives in UF and if he went somewhere else to announce where he is going that would be stupid. And honestly I always pull for Bama so I hope they get him, no offense GN!! ;)

That's fine.....but if he was going to bama, he'd pick a neutral site or broadcast from his home, imo.

I'd rather have the national player of the year and the #1 quarterback according to Rivals.com. This rumor got really blown out of proportion....Mustain hasn't said he isn't coming to Arkansas just that he is "in limbo" (from his mother's mouth) until Arkansas' coaching positions are solidified. Wittke recruited him and he is likely either gone or going to be named offensive coordinator. Mustain just wants to see who the new QB Coach or offensive coordinator is gonna be. I'm 85% sure he's still coming. In truth...Florida should be a little worried about Damien Williams (he is awesome, by the way)...the rumor is that the head coach of Springdale High School, Gus Malzahn, will be hired by the Razorbacks...at one of three possible positions: QB coach, WR coach (most likely), or Offensive Coordinator...and he's might bring Mustain, Norman, and Williams with him. The rumor is that Malzahn has already been told that he will be hired but Nutt hasn't officially hired him yet....think....since he is not yet officially a member of the Razorback staff he can continue to talk with the Springdale recruits about whatever he wants until he is officially hired (according to NCAA regulations).

the decision on where TT announces was decided long before the season started by ESPN and the bar in question is owned by his aunt

I happened to be looking on the scout.com message board and found something that apparently backs this up. It is the TN board but someone says they have "credible info". Take it as you may, everyone seems to have credible info. I don't think anyone but Mustain knows right now.

I understand that Mustain is going to commit to the University of Buffalo. My sister's neighbor has a restaurant that Frank Broyle's fourth grade teacher used to own and last week a very credible source ordered Hot Wings and why would he do that unless Mustain was going to go to Buffalo.

Sorry Gator fans..but Tebow is bama bound. He's got a much better chance at playing right away than he does at UF and that gimmicky offense isn't suited for developing NFL QBs.
If I'm wrong about this, I'll gladly come back and eat some crow.

I believe this is the first year they have run the aforementioned "gimmicky offense".
P.S. What Florida QB was highly drafted last year..... ;)

I believe he was talking about Smith from Meyer's use of the same offense he's using at Florida.
Regardless, I still don't think Smith is going to do that well in the pros. He was great in college, but I'm just not sold on him... only time will tell though. So far he hasn't looked that hot in the little he's played. But that's expected of most rookies, so we'll see over the next few years if my critique of him is true.

i agree he may not pan out, but that doesnt take away from the fact that he was drafted out of this proclaimed "gimmicky offense." i also think jason campbell was taken way too high last year, as well as aaron rodgers, but only time will tell.

HAHAHA.....good one, blues. Some gimmicky offense: it was still able to beat 3 conference champs this year (f$u, uga, and, I think, La Tech), beat two top-4 teams in the same season, procure a national ranking and 8 wins with a top-20 strength-of-schedule, hand free-shoes it's worst loss against UF since the '96 title game, and, so far, produced a WR who is #2 in receptions-for-a-season (behind Carlos Alvarez from the 60s). Yes, in Meyer's system, Jackson caught more balls than any WR Spurrier used......and I say "so far" because CJ could very well become the #1 WR after the Outback.....
....and all that with a shaky OL, tons of injuries (some involving our best players), a QB ill-suited for Meyer's system, no depth, a first year OC with a new staff...in a new system (Leak's third in as many years)...in the best conference in the nation. I'd say 8-3 is pretty amazing, considering all of the issues.
And I don't care who owns the bar, it's still a Gator hole.
