Gators land Barrie!

UF got a verbal from 4-star (#14 OT) Jim Barrie today!

6-foot-5, 310-pound lineman out of Tampa (Fla) Berkeley Prep with over 40 offers. UF came late with their offer (they were waiting on some senior film) but still reels him in.

From GB:

"I committed today," said Barrie. "I knew it was home. Everything felt like it was the place for me. I wanted to check everything out and it is the greatest place so I decided to commit to Florida."

With that he said he is done with recruiting.

"I have already called other coaches. I wanted to check everyone out and this turned out to be the greatest fit for me. I'm ecstatic about being a Gator."

Before the f$u game...we had 9, following Snead's de-commit...now 21! That's 12 in 9 days. Gonna be a boring January if things keep going at this pace.

According to GC, Meyer is telling these kids that they had better commit now because UF's running out of room!
