View Full Version : What good pc games are out now for my new rig?

I just ordered the parts for my new rig that I am going to put together, an X2 4400 chip, A8N SLI mobo, 2x 1gig sticks of DDR400, Nvidia 7800GTX card, and 2 WD 250GB SATA2 drives (so I can run a raid setup). I can't wait to play BF2 for the first time, and also am looking forward to getting back into WOW. I just decided to build a new PC cuz my Radeon9800XT just started dying on me and I figured it was time since I am still running an Athlon XP 1.67 ghz.

oh yeah, I forgot about the path of Neo, I hope it plays like the first matrix game I loved that. Also I am definetly getting Star Wars Battlefront 2.

Thats no cheap setup ya got coming there. Don't have any games to mention. Just wish I had the dough to fork out for a setup like that.

FEAR, FEAR, and more FEAR. That game is awesome but unfortunately mine can't play it unless I'm in 640x480 with no effects :(

I just knocked down 20 hours OT for a few weeks and claim tax exempt on those checks. It doesn't really hurt my taxes too much if I do it for 2 or 3 weeks out of the year.

I can't wait to get this new pc put together and let it burn in, first my freakin xbox crapped out on me, 2 weeks later my PS2, then my DVD player, now the PC I am using now if flaking out on me.
