The University of Tennessee is my Alma Mater and the Volunteers are my team. I am a Tennessean by birth and a Volunteer by the grace of God.

I want to congratulate the Vanderbilt Commodores for the win last Saturday. A hard fought game.

I also wish to apologize for the unsportsmanlike conduct of some of the players. They were not acting like Tennessee Volunteers. I make no excuses for their actions. I can only say that I am sorry that they did not represent my team and my school in the way that they should have.

Welcome to SEC Talk, Mt. Glad to see another Vol on this forum, trust me, we're overpopulated in here with Bama and South Carolina fans :D.

And good post. I agree, Some of the things they did we're very unsportsman like. But i mean, I'd be pretty pissed off too if we were supposed to be so good, and to turn out this bad. And ending their final home game with a loss against Vandy (of all teams).

Anyways, Kudos to Vandy, and we apologize for any ass-holish conduct by any of our players or fans, non of it was against you, or South Carolina or any other team. It's just been a LONG season.
