On Saturday Darren McFadden became the first Arkansas freshman to rush for over 1,000 yards. There have now been 8 SEC running backs to break the 1,000 yard barrier in their freshmen seasons......Can anyone name them?

Also, McFadden is (surprisingly) only the 7th Razorback to ever rush for 1,000 yards. I can name Cobbs, Madre Hill....maybe Talley??? I don't know this one.

And of course you've got Emmitt Smith and Herschel (sp?) Walker.

I think we had a freshman hit 1000 in the late 80s or so?? Can't remember who it was though. :cool:

Vincent did not. Walker (UGA), Lewis (UT), Cobb (UT), Smith (UF), McFadden (Ark) ... umm? I can't name anymore. Bo? I don't think he did.

As for Arkansas' 1,000 yard rushers, I can name Barry Foster, James Rouse and Dicky Morton outside of McFadden, Cobbs and Talley. I can't think of anymore.

bo only ran for 829 his freshman year with lional james in the backfield with him
