as it has been in the recent past as well is their rebounding.

I love the way Tubby coaches his players for defense but as a team, they seem pretty sh!--y rebounding :(

Rip, try and watch the language. Thanks - GN

I don't understaqnd how they've become so horrible at rebounding. That used to be UK's calling card prior to '04!!
And I wish he'd quit playing Alleyne! I'm 5'10" and slow and could out-rebound him! He has hands of stone and can't jump at all. He and Obrzut stunk it up last night.
I didn't think I'd say this, but we need Morris back! I think Sims will continue to improve, but I've about given up on the rest of our big men. Thomas might get better...who knows.
I just hope Rondo stays healthy. He's our best rebounder, scorer, disher, and defender. He's a one man wrecking crew!
This team has a looooong way to go to sustain UK's SEC dominance. And frankly, I'm not too excited about them. I'm much more excited about the football team's meager improvements.

I watched the first 5 minutes of their game last night and they looked great as far as offensive rebounding goes, is this not the case?

The football team made improvements? Any interest I had in UK's football program died when Brooks was hired as HC...then it got another kick in the ba--s when they said he's coming back next season :(

Rondo is a stud, I was wondering how much he had improved his perimeter shooting and shot selection...so far it looks like he's improved alot.

I said "meager" improvements. Having Burton back in the lineup has opened up the offense a bit. They're not painful to watch like they were in the games without him.

Rondo is definitely the total package. If he continues to improve his outside shot, we won't see him back next year :(

Rebounding, inside post presence, sh!--y perimeter shooting....

I foresee a long season in Lexington :(

I truely do not understand the problem with rebounding. I found it weird that we have two 7 footers and a point guard get 19 rebounds. I do belive with the return of morris Kentucky will have another final four this year.

is Morris really that good? I was listening to ESPN radio a few days ago and they were going over his stats from last year and he didn't sound that dominating, is this not the case?

last year he was a baby face freshman, and he came on strong in the tourney....he's big enough to hold his own with anyone in the nation in the paint, it's just a matter of time for him to get his scoring going as well.

And GatorNation, sorry....I get carried away sometimes....guess that's what happens when you have a sailor's mouth.
