I really am shocked that we beat Vandy, but am very happy for the players and coaches. I wish I could have seen the game on TV or even a delayed broadcast. From the radio announcers, it sounded as if UK was playing pretty inspired football. I don't know if the players were more relaxed, knowing that the coaching situation was settled, or what, but they played a solid game in all three phases. The D got tired and gave up points in Vandy's comeback, but I think that had as much to do with the more conserative play calling of offense, which didn't keep our D off the field long enough. Our team is so banged up, I'll take any win when we can get it. While I am happy for my team, and I think it's pretty cool that we knocked Vandy out of a bowl, I was actually rooting for Vandy to go bowling this year. They really should have taken care of business against MTSU, I suppose. Oh well, that's the breaks, I guess.

It'd be neat if we could spoil two other teams' seasons :D , although I think the chances are mighty slim  . We could knock UGA out of the SECCG and UT out of bowl eligibility. Playing the spoiler role is all we've got going for us right now :p !!

I'm proud of you guys' late season heroics. You've become an offensive dreadnought. PLEASE play inspired football one more time!!! :D
