I was wondering what all my gamecock buddies thought, they are most likely going to lose to FSU and for the first time in a while I believe we have them where we want them. So assuming they lose at least one of the next 2 games, is he gone. Personally now that we got SOS and seeing how Clemtech has played this year I am hoping Tammy stays for the next 30 years.

Agreed. I hope he stays for a while too. As far as him being fired I know there are a lot of chumpson fans who want him gone. The problem is the huge pay increase and extension he got the last time his daddy gave him a win over the Noles. It will cost them a pretty penny to get rid of him at this point. Plus, the coaching market doesnt look to be too hot this season so I dont really know who they would bring in even if they did fire him after this season. I expect to see Tammy back on the sidelines next year, but probably not after that.

There is no way TB gets fired this year. Or next year for that matter. If he were fired this year, Clemson would have to pay him 4 million dollars. If he gets fired next year, they would have to pay him 3 million. Sources close to the Clemson athletic department (as reported on CUTigers.com), say that with all the money that Clemson is spending on stadium expansion and indoor facilities, they simply cannot afford to buy TB out for at least two more years.
I would love nothing more then to see Bowden get canned. It won't happen for at least three (3) more years though due to the buy-out clause in his contract.

Actually, they stand a pretty good shot at FSU. FSU has not looked that hot lately.

i'm a-ok with tommy sticking around....which is of course guaranteed at this point. yeah he's annoying but it's fun to see him almost cry when they are upset by crappy teams every year. most of my friends that like clemson really despise him, so that i enjoy, hehe.
after i told them of spurrier's comments about 'who's rooting for auburn now?,' one of my clemson buddies laughed and said, 'wow, i wish we had a coach with some character.'
