Although Vandy deserves another apology from the SEC for the gross misconduct of officiating last week’s game when is, an apology not enough. First major missed call was by the replay officials and the officials on field when Vandy stopped the Gators on fourth down. Then there was the obvious bad call for celebration after the touchdown preventing Vandy from going for two.

Personally I’m a true blue Rebel and have no concern in this matter with the exception that for two games now the SEC is in a position that it has to apologize to Vandy for taking away an opportunity for them to compete.

Do the officials fear that if Vandy beat one of the money powerhouses that mighty SEC would crumble and fall?

I believe that an official investigation is called for and that Vandy and their loyal fans deserve more than just another apology.

If anyone know how I can email someone at the SEC offices to voice my concern over this issue please let me know. Fans we need to be heard whoever is playing the game SEC fans should be up in arms about the unfair treatment on one of their own.

Steve welcome to SECTALK.. Great post, I agree 100% with your assessment here. Although Vandy is getting the worst of the calls, the SEC has by far the worst officials in college football. Something needs to change immediately.

Officiating in the SEC has steadily declined over the past several years. We have Roy Kramer to thank for that. He changed the way the refs are graded and assigned back in the early nineties. Several refs quit soon afterward and the system is not working. I watch games from all over the country and would have to say that the PAC 10 has the best officials. RTR

I found out that the Director of SEC Officials is a man named Bobby Gadson, but I can't find anything on the Internet that gives the address/phone to contact him or any of the other morons who screwed up the game.

And think about, VU would have gone bowling with that win. Beating Arkansas, Ole Miss, Florida, and Tennessee in the same season-- Vandy?? Whoa!
