Today my team recieved bowl eligibility yet the best I felt all day was when Vandy recieved the onside kick and scored and took the homolizards to OT, I can't tell you how pissed I was when the gaytors won. The refs need to be fired, if that's not trying to help 1 team beat another then I don't know what is. I was heartbroken as if my own team had lost, it's weird, I sitting sulking after the UF loss and on the bottom of the ESPN tracker I saw our score against ARK and then smiled, remembering that my team won...., I had got caught up emotionally in the Vandy game (watched the whole game except for right before and after halftime) I forgot about my team momentarily...(that and we played almost 12 hours ago). Anyways, Vandy fans you have alot to be proud of and your season is not over, UK is a win, and UT is not half the team that you took to OT tonight, you can beat UT and go to a bowl game. Also, and more importantly, I think the future is gonna be bright for Vandy, you got some great talent on that team and hopefully you are picking up players this year. Next year may be a small hiccup (with a new QB) but after that Vandy may be the next Northwestern, I tell you what, there is only 1 day out of the year I'm not a Vandy fan and that is when the Gamecocks play them, otherwise I'm always pulling for you guys, don't let this loss get you down, if anything it shows that you are going bowling!! I wasn't convinced that Vandy could win 6 before today, but now I know UK is gonna go down and UT is too (if they play like the last two weeks), Go Vandy!

I agree, I felt like a pure Vandy fan tonight watching that game. And i'm still upset with the loss, you still have two very winnable games ahead and i hope you win out!

Yep, it was a great game and those last two regulation drives earned a lot more rep points for Cutler as the season nears a close.

I couldn't believe they called excessive celebration on such a minor infraction on that big of a play. It wasn't anything that was overly excessive, nor anything that would have changed the outcome of the game... so there was no need for the call. If he had missed that kick, that ref would have been getting a LOT of nasty phone calls/letters in the coming days. :)

I was pulling for Vandy towards the end, especially after the onside kick was recovered. I wasn't expecting that comeback, and props have to go out to Cutler for the great playmaking when it was needed. Just couldn't pull off the W.

They should have no problems with UK, and will put up a fight with UT to try and make it to their firs tbowl in quite some time.

The tv guys said a "late" flag but the network chose to show only the few seconds after the score. Seems to me if they wanted to validate their point of a bad call, they would have shown the td catch and the player return to the bench. Great game by Cutler. Vandy will be lost w/o him next year.

at least hopefully people are learning that if your a good QB, you CAN win at vandy... its not a school that you should just automatically not consider, like... that other school in Tennessee...

Cutler will be playing on Sundays next year. He is really good.
