Rumor has it that Leron McClain (FB - Alabama) will be forgoing his senior year at Alabama turning pro.

I can't say that I blame him.

He's arguably the best fullback in the country and if he's projected to go in the second round, well it doens't get much better than that for a FB.

Yeah, I hate to see guys leave early.... but I can't say I wouldn't do the same if I were in his shoes coming off a good season. By waiting, you run the risk of staying on with a "just average" team next season that loses a lot of senior leaders after this season is over. That would definitely hurt your "draftability". But we should have some good young guys that are able to step up to the plate in his absense, if he does indeed decide to leave.
