Spurrier continues in his own little way to mention Florida. He first said he did not know if Carolina could beat them, and now he keeps saying "we almost beat the first of the big three, we beat the second, and Florida may be another historical day at Carolina." :D Gotta love him!!!

Somehow, I think that there are a few pages folded over in the playbook on hold for Florida only. It will be interesting to see if Nix uses the same schemes and looks that Bama did against Florida. I want to see what the game looks like in Arkansas before I make any assessments about the Florida game, but I can see no reason that we can't win out ;)

Agree, and he will have the team ready to play this week. I love his way of quietly going about his business. I have heard several people say that Spurrier coached team normally do not have letdowns. That concerned me a little during my elation of the Tenn. win. Hoping we didn't let them slip up on us while we were boasting. Don't see it happening. Spurrier has already said the team was not quite as happy after watching the game film, and realizing how lucky they were to win.

So if we beat UF does that mean we are finally moving into the upper echelon or is it all a "dream season" and we are gonna pick back up where we left Auburn with next season.

We are movin on up my friend. Trust me on that one. ;) Even if we lose, we are still movin on up. :D As of last Saturday night, the Spur has spoken.

Psychologically speaking, the TN win will linger in the psyche of the players and the fans for years to come. It may well prove to be the turning point in the football fortunes of Carolina football. And the more upsets SOS springs, the more dangerous he becomes to opposing forces: that little doubt is planted in the minds of opposing teams AND coaches. Psychology and its inherent intangibles has a way of exposing certain foibles in the "enemy". It gives one (mental) "HAND", a factor great military minds have used to their successful advantage for years.[Hannibal, Caesar, Alexander the Great.....and Steve the Spur.]

There are no ill feelings between SOS and Foley. Coach is a true competitor that loves to win, no matter who he is facing. If he could beat UF by 50 he would only because he would let his team play, not because he wants to "stick it to Foley". You cocks should know better than anyone. SOS had great respect for Holtz, yet hung an extra 30-40 on his USC teams more than once if I recall correctly.

Yes, Spurrier is a class act, with a passion for the game.
