Man, that is awful. I hope those five get the penalty they deserve. Does Florida have the death penalty??

There is no way of knowing if this had something to do with the outcome of the game but if it was...ahh man that just boils your blood!!!! :mad:

Perhaps it was something else which I hope it was because beating someone over a game is just sick. These guys deserve the ultimate penalty.

I promise you, if they went to UGA or were UGA fans,it would have said. So I am hoping they were just mad at the guy.

I watched the video and it looked like local hoodlums from a high school. The two who were appearing before the judge in the video; one was a fairly decent looking white kid and the other was an Asian dude. It didn't show the other three.

This quite disturbing news and my prayers will be with his family and friends tonight. It is so sad that we live in an unbelievably cruel world where 5 men would beat the life out of a young man with so much life to live. I really hope Florida will prosecute all of these individuals to the full extent of the law. None of these men should ever see outside of a jail cell. Unfortunately I’m sure that some of these guys probably will.

Regardless of whether it was related to the outcome of the game, it's still sickening. Such deplorable actions should never be forgiven. There are absolutely no words to describe how disgusted I am... especially if it WAS over a game. They should face the maximum punishment. This is truly reprehensible...

We are ALL human beings, regardless of team allegiance.

Whether it was an opposing fan that beat him or just a thug (in this case, no difference), it is still very wrong. I may hate Florida and supremely dislike GA or SC but I wish no harm to any of their fans, players or coaches. It is not the spirit in which the game is meant. And it is a game. It may be a large part of our life but it is not worth the life of anyone over the allegiance to a team or school, if that is what caused this. It is sickening and the people responsible deserve the same thing done to them as punishment.

It is screwed that they would beat him regardless of what the reason was, I am sure we all feel that way. What is so sickening is it was five against does anyone in this country believe in a fair fight anymore???

Eye for an eye would be a nice sentence consideration for these cowards. Cuz that's what they are in addition to murderers....five on one for each of these bastages. :mad:
