Did that tornado shut you all up or something ? There has been a lot of stuff going on since then. Come on ! You all wake up. You all need each other through these difficult times. How do you think the rest of the season will go for you ? Do you think you have a shot at beating Alabama ? Well......I mean, you know. Okay, forget that question. What about your chances against that team up the road ? I know you must have an opinion about that one. Two evenly matched teams in a knockdown, dragout, free for all. It's gonna be a dandy. Don't you think ? You know the old saying. You can throw the records out the window for this one.
Come on guys and gals. There's nothing to be ashamed of. Come on out of hiding. I mean look at the team I root for. I'm so disgusted with them I have made enemies with my own people for speaking my mind. They hate me. They think I am one of you. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
So let me ask you a few questions. Who should really be your starting quarterback. Besides Norwood, who is another standout player ? And how long do you think Sylvester will be head coach ?

Not that you probably care but there's only one semi-active State poster on this board and that's AceLeroy. Otherwise they are non-existant. However, you can go make this post on Gene's Page where people care.

I am still here , I just do a lot more reading than posting these days. I have been working lots of late hours lately , I have a 2 year old at home and a 7 1/2 month pregnant wife. Doesn't leave much time for well thought out posts , but I will try to do so here.
In short my view of MSU football is dismal. My faith in the current HC and his staff has been heavily damaged in the last few games. Early season , the Bulldogs has some promising moments , mostly on the defensive side of the ball.
The lack of talent is something I can accept , this wasn't a secret coming into the season. The losses to UGA , LSU , UF and Aub weren't a surprise.
The things that trouble me the most about this team are not a result of having a lack of talent.
There are still to many costly penalties and some of the in-game coaching decisions have left me wondering what our Coach was thinking. Punts inside the other teams 40 that net 12 or 15 yards????
Still , it is the long term outlook that bothers me more than this season.
We have a terrible offense this year and lose Norwood next year. The offense We are attemting to run isn't working and Croom seems hell bent on not changing whether it works or not.
Gotta cut it short , I will come back and be specific about my troubles with this team later but for now I will give a few short answers to some of the above questions.......
NO , We do not have a shot at beating BAMA.
Team up the road?....I don't see it as evenly matched. Ole Miss is better. MSU has a slim chance but only if the Rebels have some costly turnovers. Ole Miss wins 20-3.
Henig should be our QB. Not because he is much better than Conner but because he is about the same and Conner could give us more playing reciever.
Croom will be there at least 3 more years. Whether or not I agree with that will depend on the number of wins in the next 2 years. If I were grading him , right now he gets a D- with the semester running out.
Willie Evans is a standout player , but like Norwood he is gone after this year.
I am ready for hoops.
