Recently, Ronnie Brewer was picked as pre-season SEC player of the year. Who would everyone pick as the #2 Player of the Year?
I'm gonna go ahead and say Rajon Rando at Kentucky. Kid can play some defense.

Obviously I am biased, but at this point in the season how can you make a case against Brodie Croyle?
He is obviously the difference maker for this team. He has won his last 11 starts and has not had an interception since the 2nd game of the season. I can't think of another player that is as important to his team or the SEC championship race this year.

I agree...'Bama was takin' names last year before he got hurt & they turned into very average in one play. No one here thought Alabama would be in the top 5 this year and from how I see it, it's all due to Croyle.

While Croyle is leading the offense to a lot of our victories, you can't take away credit where it's due. Without our defense, we would not be winning these games this year. Also, Prothro while he was in, and now DJ Hall and Co have stepped up at WR to make some big plays when Croyle places the ball near them.

I think he's talking basketball. Rajon Rando is a roundball player.

What're you saying? You don't think Croyle can shoot a basketball? For shame, Beedsie...didn't you know Brodie is the second coming?? There's NOTHING he can't do, thought you knew that. j/k ;)
Seriously though, I find it very difficult to even think about basketball today for some reason. :D

I'm not sure how this thread got off track but I'll put back on line.
I'm biased of course b/c I've seen him play many times, but I just can't believe there's a more complete player in the league than Ronnie Brewer. But you'll have to consider guys like Rondo, Glenn Davis, and Chuck Davis. I like Rondo, but I'm not sure Ronald Steele isn't better or at least just as good. Man, if Winston had stayed Bama would be straight up nasty. Without him though, that's a big, big hit. I'm liking Brewer's chances right now.
