I was completely wrong about this game.

#1. Going to a bowl game. Now, USC needs at least one (1) more win to be able to go to the post season.
#2. Recruiting. Don't think that recruits weren't watching this game esp a recruit by the name of Clausen. Spurrier made history tonight and imagine what it will be like 2-3 years from now.
#3. Exposure. You can almost guarantee that the Arkansas and Clemson game will be picked up by someone. :cool:

They announced near the end of the game that he was back in the stadium and it was just a concussion, with no other injuries. Hopefully, he'll be back for next week's game (or is that wishful thinking?).

Blamed it on the coaches, said they couldnt execute, dropped passes, etc. That they couldnt do anything in the 3rd Q when they had such great field position.

Agree. And, Peach Bowl reps. were at this game as well watching both teams. We have a CHANCE now to get a better bowl, but it's nice to have them watching nontheless. :cool:

Possibly. Depends on the seriousness of the concussion. Spurrier, if he feels like we can go without him, which I think we can, will probably opt to sit him for a week before Florida. :cool:

I was completely wrong about this game.
Blake Mitchell looked as good as I have ever seen him this year. He was getting slammed and still delivered the ball with pinpoint accuracy. Great win for the Gamecocks!! Congratulations, and I'm sorry I doubted you.

Mike Davis is going to be a awesome back especially with some good offensive lineman. He really played well, when the holes opened up. Newton playing RB really helped Davis, I believe. He saw some of the things that Newton did.
Imagine our starting Offense next year with a good offensive line:
QB: Blake Mitchell
WR: SIDNEY RICE!!!!
WR: Kenney McKinley
WR: Syvelle Newton
RB: Mike Davis
and some reallly good offensive lineman.
We could have two players on our team back-to-back SEC Freshmen of the Year.
