Looking pretty good so far, but could be better. Just went into halftime 21-0, but there's been a couple of missed opportunities that could have had us up by another TD or two. Christensen missed a FG at the end of the half on a really ugly hooked kick.

DJ Hall has really stepped up at WR, and made some really impressive grabs.

Our offensive line should be embarrased.

They're so inconsistent..we've got to get that fixed.

To their credit though, Utah State is bringing atleast 6 on every play.

On the positive note.

We've got almost 300 yards of offense in the first half, 3 TDs and 9 different receivers have caught a pass.

They're better than they were last year..but that isn't saying much.

On another positive, Alabama has only given up 19 points in 4 games in the month of October.

Oh, by the way, congratulations on becoming bowl eligible. We did that two weeks ago.

From what Ive seen on the board, this Auburn guy just wants to stir trouble and call names. How about have a little class and express ya opinions in a little more tasteful way without name calling. I seem to remember last year when Auburn was going undefeated, alot of Bama fans could have been jerks and down played what yall was doing but the fans on here called it l ike it was and said Auburn was the better team. Im not saying Bama is going to win a championship this year, but its possible. As far as barely gettin by teams... last time I checked a win was a win , wether it was by 1 or 51. I just know Im extremely proud of my team and I have faith they will continue to make strives and with a bit of luck we can be there at the end of the year playin for championships.

I am ashamed -- that when I predicted that Alabama would go 7-4 before this season started, I looked at the supposed talent on paper. I completely underestimated the heart and leadership of this team.

Couldn't have said it better TIdetalk. I too predicted a 7-4 (possibly 8-3) season, and we have exceeded my expectations this year. I know that goes for many Bama fans, as most were very unsure of our team and of Shula coming into this season. The leadership has really shown it's face this year, and hopefully the younger guys have picked up on that to carry it on into the coming seasons.

Gameball goes to... Wide receiver DJ Hall, who had 11 receptions for 157 yards and a touchdown. He became the first Alabama receiver to have back-to-back games with at least 10 catches.

Stat of the game $500,000: Utah State's payday to make the nearly 1,900 mile trip from Logan to Tuscaloosa.

Certainle glad to see him ( DJ ) back 100% after the scary injury in oxford ... definately one Bama could not afford
