Entertaining, clever, and funny reading.
However, the Barn won't have as much trouble with the Rebs as their enemies from Tuscaloooser did. The Barn is a better football team than the Tide. They will score upwards of 35 points on the Rebs while keeping the Rebs down to a fairly respectable (against the Barn defense) 10 to 13 points.

My thoughts.........This guy gives a new meaning to the term homer. :p

I notice he didn't do a lot of comparing records (5-2 vs. 3-4) in his assessment. Or comparisons in other categories besides passing yards, such as rushing yards (1353 vs. 735), TDs scored (31 vs. 12), etc., just to name a few. Wonder why?

Dude,

I can't tell you how much I wish he were correct...but I am not sure that he is.

My prediction is that this will be like quite a few other games this season. That is, our Defense will keep us in it for the first 40 mins. The half time score will probably be 17-7 with our kickers going 1 for 3 on 37 to 40 yard FG's. About 5 to 10 minutes in the third quarter, fatigue will set in. Our lousy kicking game will give them the ball at mid-field. One of their recievers will get behind our corners and BOOM! 24-7. We will get a FG late in the third to make it 24-10. Irons and the Backfield will get loose in the fourth and help put together two big drives for TD's. Final, 38-10.

I don't think Auburn will score that much (38) on us, Hasn't been done yet and we've had the Vols and Bama. I have a lot of confidence in our D, but none in our Offense. We will lose but I think it will be much closer than what you have predicted. Sure wish they would take that Q-tip off of PW's hand.

I hope that you are right. I actually chose them in the office pool to cover, so even though I am saying 38-10, I have put a staggering $5.00 bet on them to cover at 20.

The Rebel defense gave up 31 points against Vandy who is currently ranked 55th in total offense.

24 points to Wyoming ranked 66th.

27 to Tenn. ranked 94th.

Kent. was ranked 107th.

You played Bama (59th) well but they had already lost Prothro.

Auburn has the 31st ranked offense in rushing and passing totals and currently the 8th ranked defense.

Dude...
your sentiments on the Tide are good for nothing more than comic relief. Auburn is a better football team than Bama? Are you KIDDING me?!

The Barn is the second best team in the West, falling between Alabama and LSU. That's correct. AUBURN IS BETTER THAN LSU. If it werent for John Vaughn's talentless display in "Drunk Valley", then the Bayou Kittens would be out of the SEC West right now. You should call and thank him personally. I'll try to find out the number for you, if you wish for me to do so. It's really NO problem whatsoever. Anything for a friend. ;)

See you on November 12, buddy... :D

Not that it matters, but once again, only 20 points to Tennessee as one Tennessee TD was a returned INT.

Oh and since The Daily Mississippian is easily the worst paper in the state, I take everything it says with a grain of salt.

For the sake of space, we will combine the scores from the ’Bama game and the LSU game.

LSU/UA 11,002

Ut. St./NTU -33

LOL... that's CLASSIC.

i got a good laugh. bama's offense hasn't been the same since they lost prothro, so don't expect us to put up 6 points. The game will be in auburn this weekend too. our defense only gave up 13 to LSU @ LSU, so I don't think the Rebels are going to score more than that, unless we get our backups in late in the 3rd. I'll say 31-10

-FuryIs it just me, or has anyone else noticed that the Bammers are a little touchy? I guess it's their being undefeated right now but realizing that they are the 3rd best team in the West. November 12th sure is going to rattle that cage and bring reality to Shulaville. That'll be bad enough, but then, they'll have to go down to The Barn and face some more bad music. But hey, 9-2 is so much better than they've been accustomed to!!

I don't know Geaux...

Auburn's path to the SEC championship looks better if Bama beats you and we can take care of the rest of our business. That leaves the Iron Bowl for all the marbles.... I don't see Ark. beating tou guys.....

It pains me greatly to say that..... But if it happens, I can learn to live with it...

Yep, I know you could live with it okay, but, I'll bet you'll be pretty happy anyway if we both blast the Tide out of the stadium. I fully expect us to bring it on in a bad way (for Bama) in Tuscaloooooooser! That's our last real hurdle to get to Atlanta and I think we'll get the job done.

The LSU/Bammer game is a win-win situation. If LSU does what is expected and flushes the overrated crimson turds, most of these nasty IBS sufferers will quickly go into remission.

If luck is on Bama's side again, then we will have to be exposed to these vile creatures for yet another week but can take pride in knowing that the Auburn Tigers will eat their lucky charms on Nov 19 and also look forward to a 2nd victory over the jaja chihuahua's. ;)
