Why? The SEC offenses are pretty mediocre so he pegged that one right. SEC non-conference schedules is usually soft but that is changing thanks to new scheduling and the 12 game format. Oh and most people are smart enough to ignore Corso.

Everything is said was pretty dead on.

I must disagree with the notion that LSU has the best talent in the SEC. I've heard that COUNTLESS times this season, but have yet to see it. Perhaps they can verify it on November 12? :/

I'll agree that LSU has some pretty talented players... but, it's not as though Bama and Georgia have no one to speak of.

... as for the cretinous numbskull who authored that drivel:
We'll get the opportunity to prove him wrong... when bowl season arrives. :D

While I agree that our offenses are mediocre compared to Southen Cal's. I could probably find a few recent national championship winners that you could also say that about(see Ohio State). However, I would find myself hard pressed to find any championship team with a defense as bad as any team in the PAC 10.

I agree about the non-conference games, but I still believe our schedules are as tough as anyone elses in D-1.

I definately disagree about ESPN. They dictate opinion on college football and most people listen to their drivel, even voters.

They aren't saying that LSU has the only talent in the SEC but that they have the most talented players. It's someone's opinion.

But to bolster that opinion remember that LSU beat Florida while committing five turnovers (3 fumbles and 2 interceptions) which Florida scored 17 points as a direct result of.

... and i can refute that opinion by pointing out that LSU defeated Auburn by one field goal, when the Barners missed five.

Opinions are fun. Wouldnt you agree? ;)

Bama fans let LSU be dubbed the most talented group of players in the SEC. Because you guys are by far the best TEAM!! Look at what you are doing this year, Alabama is 7-0 with a 3rd year coach and just coming off probation! Do you even have all of your scholarships available yet? Even if you don't win out or even win the west, look at what you have done this year! I would say Georgia would have to be second in this category simply because, Georgia was expected to have a 5-3 conference record.

EXCUSE ME!!

Other than Gator Nation and a few Vol fanatics on this board, exactly who expected UGA to have a 5-3 conference record? As I recall, UGA was chosen by many to win the West (which is difficult to do with a 5-3 conference record) and chosen by some the win the SEC outright (impossible to do at 5-3). At the beginning of the season, the only game I thought would be tough for a complete UGA team was UTK...I missed that one. With Shockley, FLA would be a cake walk and you still may make it with your No.2 guy.

Don't get me wrong, UGA is a good team, maybe as good as Alabama...but the Dawgs are pretty much performing as expected.

West?....still early on the left coast so that one can slide.

Yeah, I chose them to win it all too. They are most definitely better than the Tuscalooser Elephants.

Here I go again. Ivan Maisel is a huge tool. 2005 inter league scheduling.
SEC
Ark. Vs. So. Cal
LSU Vs. Zona St.
Tenn. Vs. ND
Auburn Vs. GT

ACC
GT Vs. Auburn
Miami Vs. Col.
Clempson Vs. A&M

Big 10
Ill. Vs. Cal
Ohio St. Vs. Texas
Mich. Vs. ND
Mich St. Vs. ND
Purdue Vs. ND

Big 12
Okla. Vs. UCLA
Texas Vs. Ohio St.
Col. Vs. Miami
A&M Vs. Clempson

Pac 10
So. Cal Vs. Ark
So. Cal Vs. ND
Cal Vs. Ill.
Zona St. Vs. LSU
UCLA Vs. Okla.

This scheduling looks fairly even to me. Let’s not forget that the SEC, ACC, & Big 12 all have conference championship games. Adding another tough non-conference game is not always a good idea.

I heard today that after losing 5 of the last 6 games to Boston College, Notre Dame would be taking them off of their schedule in favor of Rutgers.

P.S. Bayless and Gotliebb of cold pizza are ass pirates.
