Moe Pleads Guilty

Honestly I'm shocked by this....he's pleading guilty to attempted FIRST DEGREE burglary so he could receive up to 15 yrs in jail. I would have thought he could have gotten the first degree charges thrown out and plead guilty to petit larceny.

Maybe part of the deal is that prosecutors promised to recommend nowhere near the possible 15 years...cause anything over a year or two would be pretty crazy for stealing a couple TVs.

I don't know. He might have just gotten scared about the possibility of a 15yrs to Life sentence if he did not plead guilty, and was found guilty during the trial. If your attorney thinks you have no chance of getting off, then it's best to go ahead and plead guilty for a lesser sentence.... in this case, up to 15 years, but not over 15 years.

Moe's Attorney saw the writing on the wall that he was guilty of something at least. With all the change in stories that Moe gave authorities, he was going down. The Prosecuter probably made a deal with him that he wouldn't push for anything harsh if he pleaded guilty before the jury came back. Moe is probably gonna get real lucky compared to what he probably would have gotten.
