Auburn President to meet with Coach Tuberville after Arkansas fines Auburn
for littering

AP- (Fayetteville, AR) Athletic Director Jay Jacobs confirmed today that
Auburn has received a letter from University of Arkansas campus operations
requesting payment of a fine for littering. Auburn's President, who has
recently led a charge to clean up the Auburn campus on game day, expressed
"regret" over the situation. He promised to meet with Head Coach Tommy
Tuberville to discuss the allegation.

The letter from Arkansas was apparently generated after the empty can of
WHOOPA$$ that the Auburn football team opened on the Razorbacks was not
disposed of properly after the game inside the Arkansas Stadium Saturday
night. "We usually designate one of the freshman to pick up the empty
can", Auburn's Coach Tuberville said.
"I guess with all the Arkansas fans leaving early, he got distracted."

Arkansas's coach Houston Nutt is expected to contact the SEC league office
about Auburn's use of the ENTIRE can against his team Saturday night.

"No team should have to endure an entire can from Auburn", Nutt said in an
emotional response.

on a side note... the arkansas fans burnt the auburn van with the tiger tail. pisses me off.

Come on now that could not have happened. To burn the van down. I hope against hope that the Arkansas fans did not do that.

Wow, just had to bring this thread back to the top....

On the local news after the Bama-UT game, I just saw them report that this TRULY DID happen. An Arkansas fan set fire to a tiger tail that was on the back of this guy's tiger van. The fire spread to other parts of the van, causing about $5,000 worth of damage.

UofArkansas, along with many fans, made an apology to the owner of the van that this incident occurred. Some of the more respectable Arkansas fans have apparently pooled together money to pay for the damage.

Guess every school has a handful of those bad apples that make all fans look bad.

Yeah that's true. A truly classless act. That van was sweet too. But Arkansas fans did pool together and raised enough money to pay for the damages. AD Frank Broyles also called the owner, apologized and offered to pay for it but the guy had already recieved enough money from the Razorback fans.

Well, a friend of mine actually did get peed on (his shoes) by LSU fans after the 31-0 Bama-LSU game in 2002 at Baton Rouge. These LSU fans were peeing on a wall, saw him a a couple of friends coming by in Bama gear, turned around and continued peeing.

Now I'm sure every school has their share of tasteless fans. But LSU is the only one I've actually seen that has fans peeing outside on buildings.... and in this case, opposing fans. :p

Actually, in that ADG article today talking about this, the guy mentioned that the same thing happened at LSU a few years back. He got no apology, lol.

well if they were drunk, i would deem pissing on a wall acceptable, have you seen the male bathrooms in tiger stadium? the urinals are walls with drains under them...

well there's a little sep that runs about a foot in front of the wall to ensure isn't any flow into the room /nod
