He, of course, has a lucerative insurance policy in place, but I would hate to see this cost him his career. Right now, the prognosis is more positive than that. Still, hip injuries are very tricky. If there is a loss of blood flow to the area, then you have the Bo Jackson scenario. If they ultimately find a break as well as the dislocation, then that would be devastating too. Even in the best case, he is in for a grueling rehabilitation.
He is to us what Shockley is to UGA, a dynamic playmaker who does all the right things both on and off the field. I hope and pray that he will be able to showcase his skills in the pros, but if not, I am confident that the characteristics that made him such a wonderful student-athlete for UT will help make him successful after football.

But if he does not play in the NFL. He does have his degree,so he is not a idiot. He should be fine in life. :cool:

Avascular necrosis which can stem from a hip subluxation is when the ball of the femur as well as parts of the hip area die due to lack of blood leading to a hip replacement.
