I think it'll be fairly close and could go either way. I'm not going to predict the score, but if I had to choose a winner I'd say UT by a single score.

Georgia should win this game. They have the tools on both sides of the ball. They just need to play a complete game. It should be a close one, but I think Rick Clausen will probably have a bad day against Georgia's secondary.

1.Can Shockley and the receivers beat the Vols secondary enough to make Coach Chavis respect the Dawgs passing game?

2.Will Georgia be able to consistently run the ball on the front 7 of Tennessee.

1.Are the Dawgs strong enough in the front seven to slow down the UT running game?

2.Are the DB's capable of playing man coverage against the UT receivers?

1.Will the OLine play with some continuity or will we see quite a few players shuffled in during the game?

2.Can Clausan hit some deep passes to push the Dawgs defense back a little bit?

I'll take Clausen at QB over Shockley any day of the week. UGA has a good secondary, but UT's O-Line will make things easier on Clausen and he has a good head on his shoulders. He'll take what the D gives him. I say the East gets a lot more interesting after this weekend.

when was the last time Bama blew anyone out before Florida
and If you watch alot of SEC games alot of them come down to the wire
Its not exactlly the easiest place to coach even with tons of talent
look at the schedule. Did Auburn blow out everyone they played last year
Did LSU blow out people in there 13-0 season
there r alot of other variables when it comes to being a coach in the SEC
then talent.

Oh and you won in '97 by 14 points to a team just comin goff probation , whith Peyton at teh helm and had to have alate TD by jamal Lewis I believe to preserve that one ( again gifted 14 )Only won the east in years when florida goofed up And are a game behind them now .. Phil has beaten florida what twice ..
and with more NfL talent then anyone in teh league

you only have 2 Sec championships since the league split and 1 national title . In that same span Florida has 5 SEC champs and one NAtional champ with less talent . Alabama under probation after probation has 2 Sec championships , and forfieted one ...Lsu has 2 with way less ...Only Mack borwn at Texas underachieves more

I'm just not sure UT has more talent every year than UF, GA, LSU, Ala,Aub, etc. I think it goes back and forth year to year. I just don't think any team can dominate the SEC anymore, like Bama did in the past. But every since Fulmer has been at UT, they have always been in contention for the SEC championship and have won their share of games. I do think he may be a little too loyal to his coordinators, i.e. Randy Sanders, but its hard to argue with his record.
