You preach it brother!!!! Nothing is worse than a sore loser, except maybe a really mouthy winner. Alls fair in love and war, so I am told... but when its all said and done, the real winners are those who can take their losses in stride, learn from mistakes, and move on....and fans who are loyal no matter what.....now thats is something to be proud of....keep your head up, this is one game in a long season.

I try my best, but there's always going to be fans that think they need to rub a win in everyone's face for months on end... and I have a feeling we'll see that with this win today. But as I've said in other threads, our team has to be better men that that... they have to continue working hard to prepare on a week-by-week basis, and go into every game playing 100% football in order to stay where they're at right now. The second they get cocky, our season could just as easily go downhill.

I didn't think they had such a complete game in them either, but I saw a few blowout predictions for the Gators. Everyone underestimated Bama this year and We have a right to be happy about our teams success. I have had to watch Bama lose every big game they have played for 2 years. This is the first Big game we have won in a long time. That is a compliment to Florida. This win is huge for us.

Not that we should be satisfied, but It's the first tangable accomplishment that really shows how far our team has come this year. Your players talked some crap, some of your fans and other fans on this board talked some crap. Now that we have done our talking on the field, it's our turn to walk proud and strut a little.

Maybe Tide fans wherever you're from, but I don't know many that wanted Shula gone this year. The general sentiment around Alabama, and even out here from the Arkansas-based Tide fans, most agreed that Shula should get a full 4-5 seasons to prove himself given the situation he started out in.

If BAMA doesn't lose to Tennessee they'll lose to LSU. Besides the road team having the advantage between LSU/Bama, it's just a hunch. I think Shula is getting some respect finally but the success will go to the players heads at some point, as it would with any team that hasn't experienced recent admiration. Yeah, I agree it's very possible, though I think we'll be able to pull it out. And trust me, for the UT game we WILL show up to play and everyone knows that there's no doubt about that. But we've just got to remember, even if we were to get a decent lead, to think back on what happened to LSU. You just never know what's gonna happen with them Vols. :)
