6-7 forward Mike Jones of Lower Richland has trimmed his list to a final two of USC and Syracuse and will make a decision in a week or so according to his coach Chip Atkins. Atkins notified Maryland, Miami and Charlotte today that Jones would not be taking his official visits to their schools. He has visited USC and Syracuse and had an in home meeting with Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim Monday night.


This would be a huge pickup to our already top 25 class. If he goes and plays for the 'Cuse, I'll throw up. I hate Syracuse...

My dad graduated from the 'Cuse, and is from there so I know that if he goes he'll probably get no playin time. He should stay in state to play right away. Why so much hate for the Orange great school, great city in the spring, summer, and fall not winter I would rather die than live there during the winter!!!!!

That would be a great coup for us, we could definately use him, coming off a National Title sure does help recruiting, lol....
