Week 1: Special teams let us down.
Week 2: Played good enough to win, but weaknesses on lines exposed.
Week 3: Category 5 catastrophic event.
Week 4: Can we pull it together to get momentum into middle of season?

If we can just commit to stopping the run, this in itself may provide a panacea, a spark of sorts, that could provide a ripple effect of confidence throughout the entire team. The offense has played well in spurts, signifying that they have the ability to make it happen. If they have confidence in the defense, this may provide them with "the will to win". I believe we should commit what is necessary to stop the run and trust in our talented secondary to do their jobs. Even they seemed to lose confidence in game three. That faulty defensive strategem, with all that stand up shifting crap, not getting down in a low stance, has been a major part of the problem. It has affected the stability of the whole team.

In a word, Yes. We're playing a depleted Troy team. SOS is plugging in the blue chipper's and benching Louser's boys. I'm so glad we didn't have to head to the Barn this week...

I think one of our biggest problems has been stopping third down conversions. That wears down the physical and mental aspects of a defense. It also keeps our offense off the field. If we can start to make the other team go through some 3 and outs the whole team will start to come together and play with more passion. Steve Spurrier is a great offensive mind, but that doesnt do any good when the offense isnt on the field.
