My boxers had puppies about this time last year and it was great at first, but then the little bastards started to grow up and shat on everything. I made alot of money off of them, but pretty much had to move after the things they did to my old place. Got the female fixed as soon as the vet would allow. I don't miss that...

I always wanted a Boxer, until my Neighbor got one. Beautiful dogs but too hyper for me. About 4 yrs ago I decided I was gonna buy a Siberian Husky, Did a little research via Internet and found some very interesting lies about these aminals. The two that stick out the most are they don't bark, to a degree this is true, they Howl (erie) and they don't shed. I didn't read the fine print that tells you they blow coat. What a mess! If I didn't have him cut twice a year I wouldn't be able to find my couch for the fur. He does not tolerate the MS heat well (Duh he's a sled dog). Ever seen a Hot Husky? 75 pound Dog with a 3 foot long 1 inch wide tongue staring you down wondering where the heck the air conditioning is ain't real pretty. Too many good things to say about a Husky to post. Very Inteligent and STRONG animal, but they're not for everybody.

I have three boxer's. My male came from Germany and he's like 100 lbs. Ask Cocky4 and Gamecocksrule, they've seen him. He's enormous. You're right about the hyperness. My dogs are nuts! This is their house, they just let me live here. One of my friend's has a malamute (which is basically a giant husky) and your right about those coats. He has to keep his dog shaved pretty much year round. Great dogs though...

I love my Shih-Tzu and 2 Poodles. They are all 3 very intelligent dogs and even though you won't believe me, they are not yappy at all. They bark when someone comes to the door and that is about it. They love to play and they don't shed at all. I recommend Shih-Tzus for people who want a dog for their children. My Tubby is the happiest dog in the world. He looks like he is smiling all the time and he is great with my 8 year old autistic stepson. My stepson, Tyler, decided we should have a birthday party for Tubby (Tubby's 1st birthday was on Sept. 22). We had cake, a present for Tubby, and a Scooby Doo pinata filled with dog bones. We all had fun!

RebelDude, Ive got a husky too. He is almost a year old and he is losing all of his puppy fur. My backyard looks like it just snowed an inch or two there is so much fur. Mine doesnt bark that much at all, really the only time he does is when I am picking at him to much and he starts to get pissed. He is a great dog, but definitely NOT an inside dog. I couldnt imagine having this much fur in a house or apartment, you would choke on it in your sleep there is so much.

Here's our dog....what a sweetheart. Just as playful as anything, always loving on people and just a pleasant dog to be around. Also, it's free to a good home
;)

(Not really our dog...but it's a funny picture)
