I hated to see Caldwell end his season in the 3rd game. Bubba Caldwell was one of my favorite players. He and Mcdonald will be hard to replace. Hopefully some of the freshmen wide receivers will get some play time and gain some experience. Let's hope nothing happens to Chad Jackson and Dallas Baker.
Really. It could be good in a way, getting young guys in there, I guess you gotta look at the positive side of things.

There was minimal drop-off with Harvey and Cohen....and the horrible Bubba loss will force Baker to FINALLY live up to expectations. Obviously, I'd love to have these guys healthy, but this could help us in the long run.....working the depth chart and preparing gamers to fill out the depth chart for next year. Dickey will probably get the early nod, but I'd like to see McIntosh and Tookes step up. Both are lettermen with potential. I think we may see Boateng as well.
One thing, though: this is Meyer's coaching wheelhouse....getting reserves to play like all-conference players. Squeeze every ounce of emotion and talent out of them for the good of the team. If we still had Zook, I'd be sick right now, but Meyer has been ready for this since he arrived in Gainesville.
We'll be fine.
Yeah I belive well be fine. As long as no more people get injured.

Sorry to hear about McDonald and Caldwell. As a Tennessee fan, I'm glad that it was not a cheap shot that took either player out. Tennessee lost Kevin Simon for the seson in the Florida game last year. All he did was jump up and come down funny on his leg. I wish them speedy recoveries and as GatorNation said, Meyer is a good motivator and he will get the reserves ready to give their all for Florida.

Hated to see both of these guys get hurt. I think this is another example of what makes the SEC the toughest conference in the nation. We beat up on each other all year, and then go play a bowl game against a team who has had 1 tough game all year. But I do remember it took Todd Helton getting hurt to give Peyton Manning a shot to play his freshman year, so you never know.
