I wonder who the ex-coach could be. ;) If you are thinking ex Ole Miss coach, then you move on to the bonus round.
From the article:
"One reason Tennessee can feel good about its outlook for Florida was the absence of penalties. That's the mark of a disciplined team. They kept penalties to a minimum, which is unusual for a season opener. There have been years when that wasn't the case. That means the players are picking up on what the coaches are telling them to do.''

I'll take no turnovers by Leak (in games 1 & 2) over minimal penalties.....a few penalties would be worth two Clausen INTs and a short field for our offense anyday.

I'll take playing a game against a team (that has an honest shot at a CUSA title) and struggling a little to find out where we need improvement over not being tested yet.

What are you talking about? Wyoming was a ranked team in many polls. Get your facts straight, Bubba....they were the best team of the three tune-up games for both teams.

I don't know about that. I think UAB is a quality team this year, at least better than Wyoming. Their QB, Hackney, could start for alot of SEC teams this year. As for Wyoming being ranked, I think we all have seen what early season polls are worth. For example, Mich OKL Aub ND, etc.
But in the end none of that matters because they'll play each other tonight.

Tennessee will be lucky to be in the top 25 by mid season. The play against Fla tonight was less than ugly. Why can they never be prepared to play early in the season as was Fla. under Spurrier. Its time for changes at UT, not necessarily Fulmer but offense and defense.
