Okay, our Cocks now have two games under their belt. The first we played not so good and won. The second we played better and lost. What will be do for the rest of the season?
Sept. 17 ALABAMA: I feel better after watching the GA game. I think it's a toss up, but one we could/should win.
Sept. 24 TROY: We'll kill them
Oct. 1 at Auburn: They loss to an average GT team, but looked good against Miss. St. I think this is a probably loss because it's a road game. But I wouldn't be surprised if we win.
Oct. 8 KENTUCKY: They looked good is their loss to Louisville, but think top to bottom we're a better and should win easily.
Oct. 22 VANDERBILT: Starting out 2-0. Holly Crap! Someone check to see if the devil needs a sweater. They have the edge of QB, but our secondary is good enough to shut him down. We should win this one handily also.
Oct. 29 at Tennessee: They looked horrible against a cup cake in the first week. They play at Bama before us and at Notre Dame after us. We have them at home. I think it'll be a toss up. If the Tenn. we know shows up we're likely to loss. If the Tenn. we saw in week one shows up...LOOK OUT. :D
Nov. 5 at Arkansas: They lost to Vandy. That is not a good sign. They can run though and GA showed that's something we need to work on. Without Jones this should be a game we win.
Nov. 12 FLORIDA: We're two more years away from being able to have their type of talent. This is the one game I think we get killed in. I hope I'm wrong.
Nov. 19 CLEMSON: They've looked good in two come back wins. I think our defense can stop their passing game. It's their running game I'm worried about. But after 10 games in the Ol' Ball Coach's system our offense should be running on full power. This is a toss up. 50%-50%.
Of course this is if Mitchell stays healthily. If he goes down there is a good chance of 4-7.

Sept. 17 ALABAMA: I feel better after watching the GA game. I think it's a toss up, but one we could/should win. yes you should win this game
Sept. 24 TROY: We'll kill them not all that bad
Oct. 1 at Auburn: They loss to an average GT team, but looked good against Miss. St. I think this is a probably loss because it's a road game. But I wouldn't be surprised if we win. Georgia tech is better than average. Auburn should win this game
Oct. 8 KENTUCKY: They looked good is their loss to Louisville, but think top to bottom we're a better and should win easily. agree
Oct. 22 VANDERBILT: Starting out 2-0. Holly Crap! Someone check to see if the devil needs a sweater. They have the edge of QB, but our secondary is good enough to shut him down. We should win this one handily also. closer than you think -- SC wins

Nov. 12 FLORIDA: We're two more years away from being able to have their type of talent. This is the one game I think we get killed in. I hope I'm wrong. Owned by Meyer
Nov. 19 CLEMSON: They've looked good in two come back wins. I think our defense can stop their passing game. It's their running game I'm worried about. But after 10 games in the Ol' Ball Coach's system our offense should be running on full power. This is a toss up. 50%-50%. Your secondary will shut down White fag and you will win
Of course this is if Mitchell stays healthily. If he goes down there is a good chance of 4-7 he will and you will only lose 3 games you will surprise one of the teams I picked you to lose

Here is how I see you guys finishing.
Alabama-W (honestly I have no idea who wins but I give USC the edge because its at home)
Troy-W
Auburn-W (they have no running game and you have no run defense. However, your secondary will shut down their passing game)
Vanderbilt-W
Tennessee-L (Riggs will run rampant)
Arkansas-W
Florida-L (their passing game is better than your secondary)
Clemson-W (honestly have no idea. Home team wins)
If your run defense gets better and you can develop a resemblence of a running game, I see no reason why you can't go 8-3. Blake Mitchell has really stepped up and I am quite impressed by his play.

Soooo we finally see the Georgia fans standing by with USC. Just because we showed up to play against yall. I'm happy that its not only the USC fans that believe somewhat.

If the opinion of a Rebel counts here it is.
1 Alabama, that goes in the loss column
2.Troy, should be easy SC wins.
3. Auburn, No contest another in the loss column
4. Vanderbilt, Close game SC wins.
5. Tenn. Loss column. No need to explain
6. Ark. Nutt gets his senses back by now. Loss column
7. Florida, Loss column, kinda like Tenn.
8. Clemson, DK
If the ole ball coach don't get a goin USC could possibly win only 3 More games.

BAMA (L) Bama's D will play better and they will win a close game (24-21)
Troy (W)
Burn (L) Auburn is still a good football team and Georgia Tech is better than people will give them gredit for. Not saying they shouldn't have lost the game, but UT of UF could have easily lost to Ga. Tech with opening performances like they had....
UK (W) Kentucky don't have a chance...
Vandy (?) Key game for the rest of the USC season...a loss here and things might get bad in Columbia. I honestly think Vandy has the O to beat you guys, but not the D to do it.
UT (L) UT is big and physical on both sides of the ball. USC will just be outmatched.
Hogs (W)
UF (L) see UT, just outmatched/talent
Clemson (W) surely your D can beat Clemson in this one...

1. BAMA (L) They have a more complete defense and a more poised quarterback. Mitchell was a bit jittery down the stretch in the final ten minutes...that cost you the game in Athens. Croyle and Prothro will make those tosses. Bama by 9.
2. Troy (W) - If you guys don't beat Troy I don't want to hear another word from any Gamecock the rest of the year.
3. AUB (L) Cox will have Borges system down by then and the Kid that Holtz let go will have a statement to make. The one could be ugly.
4. UK (W) (See #2 above.)
5. VAN (W) OT win for the Cocks.
6. UTK (L) This far into the season UTK will be tired of Spurrier's mouth. May be the worst loss of the season.
7. Hogs (L) If Nutt is still in Fayetteville, he will not lose to USC twice in one year.
8. UFL (L) Florida may have one of the worst conference schedules this year with road games at LSU, ALA, and UGA. I figure they will lose one of them meaning that they come into USC at 9-1 and needing a win to have a prayer for the SEC CG....they get the win...barely.
9. CLEM (W/L) Whoever wins the game will lose the brawl after.

necessary to balance the psychotics on the board.
:DMy wife likes to use the term psychoic for people w/ the uncanny ability to inaccurately predict bad outcomes.
I'd be worried about AU,UF & UT and maybe Bama. I feel like a broken record in saying we shoulda beat Georgia AGAIN. We always play UT well too but they always seem to win. I think this year we get them though.

Alabama (W)...Home game after a close loss at #9th ranked Georgia. Bama won't know what's coming as Spurrier vents some anger. 24-17 SC
Troy (W)...No way we lose to Troy at home unless we don't have Mitchell. Won't be close, 31-13 SC
Auburn (L)...Still not sure what to think about Auburn, being an away game I think we lose but close. I think the D will be really impressive though. 17-13 Auburn
Kentucky (W)...Bouncing back from another road game loss, Spurrier runs the score up on Kentucky. 41-6 SC
Vandy (W)...It's homecoming in Columbia and don't think for a second that Spurrier is going to let this be close. 34-10
Tenn. (L)...A fun game to watch that will become a close fight till the end. Look for Tenn. to pull out the Win late in the 4th quarter. 24-21 SC
Arkansas (W)...Puhleez, Spurrier is looking for another SEC win before the Gators come to town and Arkansas will be outcoached and outplayed. 28-7 SC
Florida (L)...Carolina has never had much success against Florida (If any at all), it will be awhile before we start. Look for tons of highlights and coverage of this game. UF wants to show they can still hang in the SEC w/o Spurrier, they run it up for the worse loss of the season for Carolina. 44-20 UF
Clemson (W)...Spurrier has a new rival, and he doesn't want it to start 0-1, Spurrier knows the fans and players want the win badly, he will give it. Home game for the Cocks, and a very good Carolina Team at the end of the year kill Clemson. 52-21 SC
Carolina then goes to a bowl and wins...8-4 for the Cocks in 2005.

If we beat Alabama, we will end up 8-3 with us upsetting one of the other big 3. If we lose to Alabama, it could be 6-5.

Good assesment in my opinion. The AL game is pivotal. Clemson, I'm not too sure about. It's like they have us under their spell the last few years; I'll believe it when I see it.

We know Spurrier is not on the field playing. However, the man I watched the game with Saturday, who is in his 50's and is a lifelong Bama fan, said after the Bama game that Carolina may beat them badly. Shula WILL NOT outcoach Spurrier. Not even capable IMO. Unlike losses to Georgia in the past, this game has put some fire in this team. They now realize they are not the laughing stock some people made them out to be.

You're right, Spurrier adds nothing to Carolina....forget the practices durring the week, forget the playcalling, and forget how hyped he will have the players...like it or not Spurrier adds more to the team then you like to believe.
