On the "Steve Spurrier Show" this morning, Coach Spurrier said that first team TE Andy Boyd tore ligaments in his knee and is likely done for the year. Spurrier went on to say that this means true freshmen TE Jonathan Hannah will be alot more involved in the offense. I hate this for Andy as he is a heck of a football player and a great guy to boot. I hope he recovers and comes back next year and has a great senior year. Bad news....

It's sad that he is gone because he is one of the leaders of our team. Sure he hasnt caught a lot of passes and he hasnt been the big TE but he is a leader for the team. On another note, this will give Hannah (#4 TE last year) to mature into Spurrier's offense. I think he is going to be a beast for us, for 3 more years. He made a awesome catch in tight coverage in the Georgia game.
