Where's_Demetris?

First and foremost, I'd like to thank Coach Spurrier for leading us in one of the better Gamecock football performances that I've witnessed in some time. I haven't had a reason to get that excited about our squad since, well, the first half of last year's UGA game. Thank you for returning enjoyable football to Carolina fans; we've been long overdue. You're truly the guru, and just your sideline demeanor is entertaining in it's own right. Like a man, you immediately accepted blame for Succop's missed FG as opposed to going for it on 4th and 1. Which brings me to my next point.
Ryan Succop is our MAN for the next four years. The man/boy boots the ball for a touchback every time, and quite frankly, that's exactly what you need on "D", especially against the likes of UGA, UT, etc (Apologies for the Stephen A. reference, it just fit). OK, so the 46-yarder was wide, so what. That ball was still well kicked and rest assured that nobody is more pissed about it than Ryan himself, and he will take the necessary steps to ensure that this is a RARE occasion.
Now, for the "D": I for one am not a fan of the nonsense that takes place prior to the snap. Although it may prove somewhat effective against the passing game, it automatically gives leverage to the O line, not to mention what appears to be around 2 free yards for the run. All Georgia had to do was give the ball to Brown and run it up the gut. But, I'm not a defensive coordinator, so what the hell do I know? The INT by Joseph was HUGE, as well as "Ironman" Carlos Thomas' to end the half. Nice job against the pass, boys; step it up against the rush. I will refrain from comments pertaining to the 27 yard reception on 3rd and 22. That was truly the nail.
As for the "O": Blake, you're CLEARLY our man. Shake off those 2 int's, it's the UGA defense for God's sake, they're beasts. I refuse to comment on our running game, so I will allow this ever-so-descriptive, not-so-smilie, smilie-face to express my feelings for me: 23 carries for 43 yards= :mad: .Recieving: Sidney Rice is clearly our new Troy Williamson . Sidney: "You're my boy".
On the whole, this game F'n rocked, and we will never be 18 point underdogs again.
