Injuries and inconsistencies

Looks like UK is up to old tricks. The injury bug is taking it's toll already, and UK lowered it's level of play for the I-AA Idaho State Bengals. Ironically, all the hope that I gained from last week's loss has been vanquished by this week's win. We'll be fortunate if we beat IU next week, but after that, I don't know that we'll even have a chance at another win.

Injuries include:
Kenan Burton (4-5 weeks)
Tommy Cook (2-3 weeks or more?)
Marcus McClinton (out for the year)

There's about 5 more that I'm forgetting right now...

After loss to Indiana, Kentucky had 21 injured players and most of them starters.

Linebacker, Ricky Abrens could be back against Florida.

The loss of linebacker Lamar Mills after the Louisville game will cost us all year.

Our 2 starting wide receivers, Keenan Burton who was making all kinds of wild catches the first 2 games and Tommy Cook (7 surgeries in UK career) will both be out a few more weeks.

Defensive back Bo Smith is questionable this week.

Offensive lineman Micah Jones will redshirt.
