Dawgs won an ugly one and the chikins again made the oddsmakers and moi look pretty stupid.
All kidding aside, South Carolina came to play and didn't roll over like BSU did the week prior, framing the difference between how the game is played here in the South. Nine opponents remain on the schedule and somebody is going to become The Victim for the Gamecocks.

I agree that Spurrier had us ready to play tonight. As I stated in the other thread, I was extremely proud of the cocks tonight. We had the opportunity to pull it out (within striking distance near the end of the game), and that was all I was hoping for going into the game. I really didn't think it was that ugly of a game. I thought most of the mistakes that were made by both teams were caused by the opposing defenses.
As far as missing the prediction, we all miss them from time to time. Even me (as you may well know). ;) Congrats on the win.

Yea, hell of a game by the cocks, but I'm not gonna give you that much credit. You guys need to get that running game going. It's really killing you.
I do believe you will sneak up on somebody though... i'm pulling for you the rest of the year.

Considering how much more talent y'all have, you have your own problems to worry about...

How much money are you paying for those lessons that you take from Lee Corso?
UGA, UT and UF have fine football teams. See, I can admit that.
They are FULL of talent. See, I can admit the truth.
South Carolina has more talent than everyone wants to admit. Look, there I am admitting the truth again.
Also, we have a great coaching staff that will be able to recruit talent to play with the upper echelon of the SEC East. I'll let you decide whether that's the truth. Or maybe we better let the coaching staff decide that.

well I started as physics and went through it for a few years .. and realized I was only going through it just to prove I was as smart as my siblings .. who are all Doctors etc. .. then I realized I loved music and went through that ..
Then I realized I only need a few classes .. might as well finish physics .. so I put off student teaching for a year .. and finised phyiscs ...
And stragely enough .. I have both now .. and I work in finance

Music theory....adjunct faculty at the university/college level. Mostly theoretical stuff: transformational theory, mathematical music theory (e.g., group theory, graph theory, etc.), Schenkerian analysis, harmony, counterpoint, etc...
...the usual suspects.

Good to know. I have the utmost respect for educators. I could never do it because I don't have the patience. It's hard for me to accept that some people just aren't smart enough to understand what I'm trying to teach them. I'd wind up fired for yelling at my students and telling them how stupid they are and things like that. My hat's off to you. :)

I want to thank you music educators also. I am a saxophone player for the US Navy. I have been in over 15 years. Alot of our players are music educators. They get tired of dealing with teaching in the school systems and decide to call up the Navy for an audition.
You guys are extremely important for the future of the arts in this country. It amazes me when I meet HS students that don't know anything about minor scales.
