View Full Version : Where are you Kurtzy, GDawg, DAWG@heart???
Where are all the ones that predicted a blow-out or the fact that Shockley was going to tear us up?????
The reason why? I couldn't care less what people think. Hell CFN picked SC to beat us like the last 3 years in a row, and half the prognosticators picked Boise. So yeah, y'all keep making those predictions... Especially you Neo. I LOVE how they're working out for us so far! :D
DJ Shockley, SEC & National Player of the Week! :D :)
Your response to what I wrote was about like I think your brain is dude, full of holes. You have a feeling? Great, I don't wanna know that just because Spurrier is your head coach you have a stiffy, keep it to yourself.
Red Clay Hounds - 31
Captain Clucks Chickens - 14
UGA 48
USC 3
The Dawg Pass D will victimize him just as it did the Zman the week prior. SC manages some garbage time points, if at all.
9/11 takes on a new meaning for chikin fans this Fall, for after an absolute and total annihilation at the hands of the Dawgs, the stark realization of the job SOS has before him will be crystal clear.
Forget last year, it's in the past! The losses of key players who contibuted greatly to that effort are now gone. Expecting so many newbies to attain that level of proficiency after but one Fall practice session and one game vs. a pitiful opponent is so far detached from reality as to be pitiable.
South Cacklelacky ain't and never has been an Elite and won't magically become one this Fall. FACT! And it won't in '06 either, for it takes a 'shirt year and the practice & conditioning to properly prepare recruits to be the best they can be, not to forget the teaching.
South Carolina will be fortunate to win 5 games this Fall and one of them will not be in Athens, not Greece, but Georgia! Dawgs will hang 30+ and SC will be lucky to score at all.
Dawgs by 21+ and a great silence settles over SC....
Won't be me 'feeling' it and the auc is the tekkiemite's rag btw. As much as you cackalakians are running your pieholes, I wonder if the State will be able to figure out a way to spin what happens to SC on 9/10 and beyond. Starting out with a win over the creampuff and then two devestating beatdowns won't play well even with the homers at that rag.

damn right. They the chickens now. All of us (USC fans) said we would not lose big and thats what happened. Colonel said that the game will silence us, hell it has made us talk even more. But even though we lost, I'm still happy with the way of defense and Blake Mitchell played. Again our running game was horrible. There was only one play in which our secondary collapsed and it was the 3rd & 22 in the 4th quarter. If UGA didnt convert that, USC would have won.

Brown missed the extra point and Succop missed the FG. Although it was a 49 yarder, I'm a little disappointed with that. I'll eat my crow, as I was one of a few USC fans to suggest we would lose big. I'm done doubting Spurrier and this team. We have alot more talent and coaching prowess than I suspected. We could be the thorn in the side of quite a few teams this year. RCR...

Hey Beeds, we have beaten Bama 2 in a row. By your comment , do I understand that?:
"By your insight, (Jerry), will we see
That mighty Bama will be oh and three?"

I picked uh-ga to roll...but I don't feel badly about it. Had nothing else to go on but week one football. And I didn't think Shock would be that inconsistent....I guess I thought usc would be worse against Georgia's running game.

I'll be the first to admit that I was wrong on that game too....
But personally I don't feel that it was that USC played that much better than Week 1, it was just that UGA played like pure crap compared to Week 1. Shockley made some dumb decisions that could have easily cost UGA the game yesterday.
Good game by USC though. As long as you remain consistent from week to week, you'll do pretty well with all the ups and downs the rest of the teams seem to be having so far. Just the second week, but man it's crazy this year at the inconsistency.

Actually it was the fact that Boise State's defense sucks and USC dosen't, well atleast not their secondary. UGA didnt play like crap, USC defense played well. Shockley didn't make stupid mistakes, USC secondary made athletic plays period

I was wrong and can't say nothing else but what I did in that post. Carolina came to play and darn near pulled it off.
Now, one week later and it appears that your team left more than it had in the physical and emotional tank in Athens. SC was not the same team yesterday, a step slower and not as focused. To be sure, Bama was fired up about losing two in a row to y'all, but they didn't get the same fire and effort SC put up in Athens.

That's an understatement. They didn't get the same fire and effort that my local high school team puts on the field every Friday night (and they've only won two games in over 4 years). But at least they leave it all out on the field.
