While I hate the fact that we gained a "moral" victory, I am extremely proud of the sheer grit and will that UK displayed against UofL in 3 1/2 quarters of football. I must also say, I am pleased that UK covered the spread and didn't allow the Cards to ring up 70 points, like they wanted to.
For as young and inexperienced as our team is, I was really impressed with their resilience in the face of a difficult first half.
I hope they don't revert to the habits of past Cat teams that tend to "play down" to their competition when they have a perceived edge. Having said that, I fully expect this team to win their next two games vs Idaho State and Indiana, and build more confidence, too. I fear that injuries will ultimately dash any hopes of a winning season, though, since we're so thin. But, I'll sure be rootin' for the Cats the whole way!! GO CATS!!!

Andre Woodson looked good, and he's only a sophmore...one bright spot in the UK football program

Kentucky will have a chance to be in a bowl game this year, as long as they take care of business in the next 2 against Idaho St. and the Hoooosiers.

This team has some talented young players. Hopefully we will have Ricky Abrens and Jason Leger back by the time we play Florida.

Should have been a dead ball the other night and the Cats would have tied it up. Thats okay Louisville's run is about to end.

I am excited about this team!!!

First, everybody has a chance to be in a bowl game...until they start losing and that will start for Kentucky in about three weeks.

Second, you have to win at least 6 games to get to a bowl game. I have looked and for the life of me, I can not figure anyway that you win more than four (Indiana, Idaho, MSU, Vandy)

Your guys are looking better, but I still stay R. Brooks needs a real estate agent.

Maybe because we play Ole Miss, LOL!

Hope Ole Miss is doing okay right now. Kentucky loves Mississippi.

Why do you hate Lehigh?
